Bairstow became embroiled in controversy during the 2023 Ashes series when he was stumped by Alex Carey during the second Test after walking out of his crease.
The English keeper ducked under a Cameron Green bouncer and strolled down the wicket before the umpire had called over as Carey tossed the ball at the stumps.
The incident became the biggest talking point the world over as tensions exploded between the two nations.
Now almost a year on from the fiery Lord’s scenes, Khawaja stoked the fire with a fresh clip in the viral post.
Dressed as a doctor in the post, Khawaja talks about symptoms cricket obsessed fans could be dealing with.
“Hi, Dr Uz here to let you know that something is gripping Australia,” Khawaja said on the Prime Video post.
“Cricket is catching and symptoms include stiff shoulder, umpires finger, sore throat and warrior face.
“If you’re catching cricket...”
It’s then that Khawaja delivers the ice cold seven word sledge in Bairstow’s direction: “...don’t stand around like a stumped batsman”.
“Check out all the men’s T20 Cricket World Cup action.”
Behind the scenes footage from the second Test was released in the third series of Amazon Prime’s The Test, which released on May 24.
The footage shed further light on the fallout to the series-defining moment.
Tensions boiled over in Lords’ famed Long Room as the Aussies made their way through into the dressing rooms.
A heated confrontation unfolded as patrons took aim at Khawaja with security being forced to step in and separate the two parties.
“One of the MCC members started spraying me,” Khawaja recalled.
“I was like nah you can’t be saying that stuff and he was like ‘I can say whatever I f***ng want’, like that sense of entitlement almost.
“There was probably three of them that called out but one of them was really inappropriate.”
One MCC member was handed a life ban while another two copped suspensions over the ugly display.
Footage from inside the dressing rooms then rolls as the Aussie players discuss the heated scenes that just took place.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a group of grown old as men, like one bloke was foaming at the mouth,” Marnus Labuschagne said.
“A bloke kicked bull (David Warner) as he was going up the stairs.”
Khawaja added in disbelief: “We’re at Lord’s.”
Aussie squad member Marcus Harris opened up on an encounter that took place on the boundary line with a fired up local.
“They were kicking off over the fence and I was like you wrote the rules you f***ing idiot, it’s not our fault,” he said as the rest of the Aussies erupted.
The fallout to the incident raged on for months with Khawaja now just adding a fresh chapter in the long-running feud.
