Tracy Morgan revealed he was hospitalised for food poisoning after he threw up on the floor while sitting courtside at MSG for the Knicks-Heat game on Monday.
The comedian, 56, who was escorted off of the court in a wheelchair, posted a photo of himself Tuesday morning smiling in a hospital bed while holding a thumbs up gesture, the NY Post reports.

“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing ok now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” Morgan wrote on Instagram. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”
Morgan was shirtless and multiple wires attached to his chest in the snapshot — which showed his phone in a Knicks case with his name on it.
Morgan also seemingly had a nosebleed during the incident.
The “30 Rock” star buried his head in a towel as he was being wheeled off of the court.
Morgan, a Bronx native, is a diehard Knicks fan and a staple at MSG’s celebrity row.
“We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside,” an MSG spokesperson told The Post in a statement.
The Knicks went on to defeat the Heat 116-95 after Morgan’s illness delayed the game for approximately 10 minutes during the third quarter.
In their return from a five-game West Coast trip, the Knicks (43-24) opened their first of five straight games against sub-.500 teams by earning their third win in the past four games, putting away the Heat with a 41-15 third-quarter beat down.
Mikal Bridges scored a game-high 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 23 points and seven rebounds.
Miami took a 49-47 lead into the break, but lost momentum for good early in the second half, as Bridges went on a 7-0 run to put the Knicks up by double digits.
