Two NBA players have sent social media into a spin after pulling off a NSFW jersey swap moments after their game came to an end.

Two NBA players have caused a stir on social media after coming together for a jersey swap on Monday (AEDT).

Toronto’s Gradey Dick and Orlando’s Anthony Black spoke at halfcourt before agreeing to the swap of jerseys.

NBA jerseys have the surnames of the players above the number on the back, both men knew exactly what they were doing as they stood side-by-side having their photos taken by a host of photographers.

The two guards struggled to keep their laughter in check as the cameras shuttered before the images were posted to social media.

The images quickly spread across the Twitterverse like wildfire with one post from Hoop Central being viewed over a million times.

Complex Sports uploaded the photo with the caption: “This is wild” alongside a skull emoji.

For those who haven’t quite figured out why a normally innocuous jersey swap could cause such a stir, here it is.

While the post-game moment stole the show, it was the Magic who stormed home to a comfortable victory.

While Dick started for the Raptors and finished with 10 points and one assist, it was Black who had the last laugh despite playing only three minutes off the bench - scoring two points.

The win keeps the Magic in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and closes the gap to the fourth placed New York Knicks to half a game.

For the Raptors the loss piles further misery on their season as they sit 12th on the standings and now find themselves seven and a half games behind the 10th placed Atlanta Hawks.

Elsewhere around the NBA on Monday the Dallas Mavericks pulled off a stunning win over the Denver Nuggets thank to a Kyrie Irving game winner for the ages.

Irving sunk a left-handed 20-foot floater shot at the final buzzer to give the Dallas Mavericks a 107-105 home victory over Denver.

The clutch Irving shot snapped the Nuggets’ five-game win streak, with coach Michael Malone conceding Denver had little chance of defending it.

“Hell of a shot by Kyrie. Give him all the credit,” Malone said.

“If a guy’s going to beat us making a left-handed, off-handed hook shot from the elbow, yes I did [like our defence].”

Irving wasn’t the only player to call game though, with Bam Adebayo’s 30-foot 3-pointer at the final buzzer giving Miami a 104-101 victory at Detroit. Adebayo finished with 20 points and a game-high 17 rebounds.
