“The NBA on NBC was a meaningful part of my career, and I’m excited about being a special contributor to the project,” Jordan said in a statement.

“I’m looking forward to seeing you all when the NBA on NBC launches this October.”

A six-time NBA champion and six-time NBA Finals MVP with the Bulls, Jordan played 15 seasons in the league and was named an All-Star 14 times.

He also earned league MVP honours five times.

Jordan, who has never shown an inclination to be part of the media, has maintained a low profile since selling the Hornets in 2023 while enjoying a lavish lifestyle with his wife, Yvette Prieto.

Another said: “Bruh … this is one of the greatest rollouts/ call backs I’ve ever seen for NBA coverage. NBC really got F-U money on top of Nostalgia because Michael Jeffrey Jordan is actually gonna be around humans … consistently talking hoops again? Seated & impressed.”
