Tom Brady’s sneaky wardrobe adjustment after Super Bowl win

You don’t win seven Super Bowls without an incredible attention to detail — and Tom Brady proved his mind never switches off.

Tom Brady knows which side of his bread is buttered.

As the 43-year-old Buccaneers quarterback was introduced during the Super Bowl 2021 trophy presentation after winning his seventh championship, he appeared to notice the Nike logo showing on his undershirt when looking up at the video board in Raymond James Stadium. Brady, who has an endorsement deal with Under Armour, promptly pulled the neck of his championship T-shirt up to cover the Nike logo.

Nike is the official uniform and apparel provider for the NFL, and recently Under Armour reportedly decided to end its licensing deal with the league.

So there’s nothing Brady can do about donning Nike logos during games. But he has made brand-conscious moves when possible.

When he posted a photo of himself in a Buccaneers practice jersey over the summer, he obscured the Nike logo on the shoulder by marking it up.

The move calls to mind Michael Jordan, a Nike loyalist, covering up the Reebok logo at the 1992 Olympics.
