Patrick Mahomes just continues to blow the minds of NFL fans with some of his ludicrous throwing abilities.
The Kansas City Chiefs megastar displayed his full arsenal in a 32-29 victory against the New Orleans Saints on Monday, but it was one throw in particular that sent social media into a spin.

Midway through the third quarter and with the Chiefs behind 15-14 working on a 2nd & goal only five yards out, Mahomes got the ball before scrambling to his left.
As he got closer to going out of bounds, he began taking a few backwards steps as the Saints defenders closed in on him. With no space in front of him and the out of bounds line on his heels, Mahomes launched a laser to the back corner of the end zone.
The centimetre perfect dart landed in the hands of outstretched receiver Mecole Hardman who hauled in the touchdown to hand the Chiefs the lead.
This Mahomes to Hardman TD is just RIDICULOUS.

Mahomes finished the game with 254 passing yards, three touchdowns and added 37 rushing yards.
Fans were once again left in awe as they watched the superstar dissect one of the NFL’s best teams to lead his side to a 13-1 record on the season.

WIN BUTCHERS TOP DRAFT PICK CHANCES
The New York Jets have been the NFL laughing-stock all season long and after 13 straight losses things only seemed destined to end with a winless season.
That all changed on Monday when the Jets took care of business 23-20 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Unfortunately that one meaningless win has huge ramifications for the Jets as it pushes them out of the first pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars now own the top spot.
Transcendent college superstar Trevor Lawrence is the quarterback many have tipped to strike it rich in the big time and help lead a franchise back to the glory days.
Those days now won’t be happening now for the Jets who will have to make due without Lawrence who seems destined to land in Jacksonville.
In any normal circumstance, fans would be celebrating the victory. But Jets fans were left seeing red after their team saluted in one of the upsets of the season.

- "Way to win a meaningless game and deny the franchise of possibly its best chance to change the narrative since Joe Namath was drafted."
- "Literally nobody wanted this."
"Congratulations. You've buttfumbled your tank." https://t.co/iZDrhpxeyG

RISING STAR LIGHTS UP, FORMER STARTER IN THE DARK
The Philadelphia Eagles have uncovered a genuine superstar in Jalen Hurts.
Hurts may not have secured the win against the Arizona Cardinals, with the Cardinals recording the 33-26 victory. But the 22-year-old once again showed he has what it takes to lead the Eagles back to the promised land.
After being elevated to the starting position last week, Hurts played out of his skin to finish the contest with 338 passing yards, three touchdowns and rushing for 63 yards.
His otherworldly performances have left former starter Carson Wentz out in the cold and now seeking a move away from the Eagles to a team where he’ll be the starter.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday, citing sources, that the spurned signal-caller isn’t happy with “the way events have unfolded in the organisation” and wants out if he’s going to be a backup.

Any option to move on from Wentz would be costly for the Eagles, who recently extended him for $128 million through 2024. The former No. 2 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft carries an enormous $34.7 million cap hit ($59.2 million dead cap) in 2021, which drops to $31.3 million ($24.6 million dead cap) in 2022 and $36.3 million ($15.3 million dead cap) in 2023 according to Spotrac.
His 2022 base salary of $22 million becomes fully guaranteed three days after the new league year begins in March; his $10 million 2021 roster bonus is also paid out at the same time.
The Eagles may opt to designate him as a post-June 1 release, in which case they would owe Wentz his 2021 salary, but could spread out his $59.2 million dead cap hit over two years.
If they choose to put him on the trading block, the Eagles would only incur a $33.8 million cap hit that would count against their 2021 cap in full.
This would require another team to agree to pay the struggling North Dakota State product’s $25.4 million salary plus a $10 million roster bonus in 2021, which would likely require some incentive from the Philadelphia.
