Kyler Murray gets torched for horror pre-game lime green outfit

An NFL superstar’s bizarre pre-game fashion choice sent social media into meltdown on Monday as fans were quick to shred the outfit.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray had a day to forget.

Taking on the Philadelphia Eagles, Murray became a laughing stock before the game even got underway.

The star QB, who signed a $370m contract extension in the off-season, was roasted on social media for wearing a lime green suit into the stadium ahead of the clash.

NFL fans had a field day, comparing him the late Queen and comparing his outfit to a bottle of soft drink.

Brenden Deeg, NFL editor at The Score, wrote: “Kyler Murray with one of the worst pre-game fits I have ever seen.”

Things went from bad to worse for Murray when the game got underway as the star completely botched a potentially game-trying drive.

With under a minute on the clock and the Cardinals trailing 20-17, Murray was driving his team downfield when he took off on second and 10.

Murray found a gaping hole in the Eagles defence before he slid to the turf, ultimately coming up short

Unfortunately he thought he had covered enough ground for a first down and went back behind his offensive line before spiking the ball.

The mistake resulted in the Cardinals having to attempt a long-range field goal which sailed wide and handed the Eagles the win.
