ALL four Round 2 NTFL matches will again be live-streamed on ntnews.com.au this weekend after the incredible success of Round 1.

All four Round 2 matches are on Saturday with a huge triple header at TIO Stadium.

Palmerston takes on the Tiwi Bombers at 2.30pm, Buffaloes play Southern Districts at 5pm and St Mary’s battle Wanderers at 7.30pm.

The match between Nightcliff and Waratah will also be live-streamed from 4pm.

For the first time last week, ntnews.com.au streamed all four NTFL matches live and exclusive for its subscribers.

It kicked off with the historic first ever clash under lights at Gardens Oval between Waratahs and Palmerston.

NT News editor Matt Williams said the results surpassed expectations.

“We were hopeful it would do really well but the numbers we achieved blew us away,” he said.

“Thousands of subscribers tuned in across the four games. Live-streaming local sport has proven to be extremely popular across Australia in the past two years and it appears the NTFL is no exception.”

Williams said the live-streaming was added value for NT News subscribers.

“A subscription not only gets you unrestricted access to all of the NT News’ content, it also gives you access to a heap of New Corp Australia websites and digital print editions,” he said.

The NT News and AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) have come together in a partnership to livestream Men’s Premier League games for the 2020/21 TIO NTFL season.

“For many years AFLNT has built a solid reputation for capturing and live-streaming our Men’s Premier League competition in the TIO NTFL – we’re excited about this next stage of our development to involve the NT News as a partner,” AFLNT CEO Stuart Totham said.

“This is an opportunity for not only NT News subscribers to gain exclusive access to fantastic games but also sets the foundations for a better commercial return to our game.”
