The action kicks off tonight with the huge season opener between Waratahs and Palmerston at Gardens Oval.

The historic match, which is the first under lights at Gardens Oval, will feature a pre-game tribute to much-loved former Waratah ruckman Alexander Aurrichio who was tragically killed in a road accident in June.

The other three games to be streamed exclusively live are on Saturday and kick off with the Tiwi Bombers taking on Darwin Buffaloes from 4pm at Gardens Oval.

TIO Stadium will host a double header kicking off with Wanderers and Southern Districts at 5pm and the grand final rematch between Nightcliff and St Mary’s from 7.30pm.

The NT News and AFL Northern Territory (AFLNT) have come together in a partnership to livestream Men’s Premier League games for the 2020/21 TIO NTFL season.

NT News editor Matt Williams said the partnership was a coup.
