GARY Ablett was involved in a heated exchange with an angry Gold Coast fan after the Suns were smashed by Melbourne.

AN ARGUMENT between a Gold Coast fan and Suns captain Gary Ablett at Metricon Stadium is being investigated by the club.
The man was ejected from the ground after abusing the Suns players following their 73-point loss to Melbourne.
Ablett appeared to try to calm the man, and was believed to have told him to watch his language around children that were standing nearby.
It is unknown if the children and the man are related.
The Demons romped to a 73-point win as Gold Coast gave up 16 second-half goals at Metricon Stadium.
The loss plunged the Suns further into crisis after a 120-point hammering from Geelong last week.
Eddie McGuire supported Ablett after the incident.
“When things are tough, you need supporters rallying around you,” McGuire said on Fox Footy.
“You don’t need to be giving everybody an ear ache going off the ground. You can see supporters of the Suns on the other side of the race getting behind Gary there and just trying to calm things down.
“So well done to Gold Coast skipper Gary Ablett, the sensible head among everything there.”
