PATRICK Dangerfield is in doubt for Round 1 but the Geelong superstar isn’t letting his hamstring injury get him down after having a bit of fun with the media on Monday morning.
Dangerfield was at Kardinia Park on Monday morning before departing the club, likely for scans on his injured hamstring.

Understandably, there was media waiting for the Cats star to emerge from Geelong’s headquarters for an update on his condition but Dangerfield had other ideas.
Documenting his journey on his Instagram story as he attempted to make a quick getaway, Dangerfield left via a back entrance where his dad was supposed to be waiting with the getaway vehicle.

But when Dangerfield emerged, undetected by the waiting media, the car was nowhere to be seen.
It left the midfielder exposed and he was eventually spotted and grilled by journalists about his chances of playing in Round 1 against Melbourne.
To make matters worse, when his dad finally arrived in the getaway car, the passenger door was locked.
Dangerfield saw the funny side of it, later advertising a job vacancy on Twitter.
“Get Away Driver (sic) wanted ... Johnboy absolutely terrible this morning,” he wrote.
Classic Danger.
On a more serious note, the Brownlow Medallist is unsure if he’ll be fit for Round 1 despite feeling good the day after suffering the injury.
“I will wait until (Tuesday) and see how it is, it feels pretty good,” Dangerfield said.
“I’ve never done a hammy before, so without having done one, it’s hard to say where it’s at.”
