Majak Daw’s comeback appears on hold, with the North Melbourne star unable to shake a slight cold.

If successfully cleared it will be Daw’s first AFL game in 574 days, since Round 23, 2018.

Daw was named in an extended Kangaroos squad on Friday after being sent home the day before with a runny nose.

The 29 year-old missed all of last season as he recovered from a serious hip and pelvic injuries, suffered in December 2018 in a fall from the Bolte Bridge.
