Adelaide has re-signed young gun Dan Curtin for another three seasons.
Curtin, who pledged his long-term future to the Crows to The Advertiser earlier this month, had another year to run on his deal and was now tied to the club until the end of 2029.
The West Australian has played all 14 games this season, settling on a wing after earlier stints as a forward and defender.
Curtin, 20, was nominated for the Rising Star award for round 13.
Crows list boss Justin Reid said the second-year utility was a rare talent who was looking more comfortable at AFL level every game.
“Like all young players, Dan is continuing to refine his craft and we’ve been really impressed with his versatility, appetite for hard work and willingness to take on feedback and improve,” Reid said.
“Along the way he has gained the respect of his team-mates, coaches and staff across the club.”
Adelaide selected Curtin at pick eight in the 2023 national draft after trading up the order with GWS.
The 197cm left-footer debuted in the round 8 Showdown last year, then spent time in the SANFL mid-season, before establishing himself in the 23 by the end of the campaign.
Curtin said he was very happy to re-sign.
“I’m grateful to the coaches for backing me in so much this year, as well as my teammates for supporting me on and off the field,” Curtin said.
“I think we’ve got a really fantastic group and I certainly wanted to be a part of it moving forward.”
