The couple bought the property in 2009, opened the cafe in 2015 and the brewery a year later.

Ms Potter said there was immense potential on the 10 acre property, which aside from the house/cafe and brewery contains eight powered camping sites and areas for unpowered camping.

“There’s so much to attract people out here,” she said.

“Billabong fishing, you can head out to Mary River, Corroboree and the Marrakai Track which has some of the best bird watching in the NT.”

Despite being closed for more than a year, Ms Potter said people kept trying to visit.

“We’re constantly getting half a dozen phone calls each week from people wanting to book,” she said.

“It hurts. People are disappointed we’re closed. A lot of the success of it was because we enjoyed talking to people and caring for them and looking after them.”

Once the property sells the couple plan to move to Queensland to be with family.

Ms Potter said she was more than happy to hand over recipes, procedures and suppliers

“The potential for tourism development is pretty unlimited,” she said.

“I’d love to see it open again. A lot of people enjoyed it.”

She urged potential buyers to take advantage of the NT Government’s tourism grants, which helped launched the business.
