A TOTAL of 50 new residential lots have been released at Zuccoli, helping meet the growing demand for larger, more affordable blocks in the Top End

DOZENS of new residential lots have been released at Zuccoli, helping meet the growing demand for larger, more affordable blocks in the Top End.

Led by Urbex and the Land Development Corporation, the $185 million development will contain 900 lots once completed and will provide homes to more than 2700 Territorians.

The 50 new residential lots at the southern end of Zuccoli Village range in size from 450 sqm to 855 sqm and will fill a gap in the market with lots starting from as low as $200,000.

Urbex sales consultant Nicole Turner said the new land release would appeal to a diverse range of buyers who sought quality and space.

“Set among a scenic natural setting and green open space, Zuccoli provides the balance of living in the great outdoors with unrivalled lifestyle attractions,” she said. “We have a range of the Territory’s best builders at Zuccoli, with plenty of house-and-land package options to choose from to suit various lifestyle needs and budgets.”

Urbex NT project director Tim Bycroft said they were about halfway through the multimillion-dollar development. “We have delivered approximately 400 lots and have around 400 to go,” he said.

Mr Bycroft said Zuccoli continued to be popular among families and those looking to enter the property market for the first time.

The Kastellorizios family bought their first home at Zuccoli and are set to move in this weekend, after living in Palmerston. “My family was attracted to Zuccoli as it’s a nice new suburb that is relaxed and less congested than others,” Mr Kastellorizios said.

“It’s certainly a beautiful little estate and has everything you need. Plus having the parkland and lakes nearby is something we are looking forward to as a young family.”
