Vice President JD Vance’s three-year-old daughter Mirabel is pictured at Donald Trump’s inauguration with three bandaids on her fingers featuring the Australian cartoon character, Bluey.
It was the most important day of their father’s career, but the youngest members of the Vance family, Ewan, Vivek and their little sister Mirabel, almost stole the show at the Rotunda on Monday.
J.D and Usha Vance entered the Capitol One Arena ahead of the ceremony with all three children in tow ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration. Ewan, age seven, held his mother’s hand, Vivek, four, carried a teddy bear, and the youngest was in her father’s arms.
As the ceremony dragged on, the children were well-behaved but noticeably tired. Mr Vance placed his hand on a Bible as he took an oath as US Vice President while his wife stood next to him carrying Mirabel, who sucked on her thumb.

The children then accompanied their parents to the stage and took seats next to President Trump and his family. Mirabel moved between her mother and father while her brothers tried to sit still.
Eventually, Vivek was draped over the bench in front of his father and the President, resting his head on his arm.
The Vance children weren’t the only ones at the ceremony, a number of President Trump’s ten grandchildren also arrived with their parents.
At a pre-inauguration rally on Sunday, Elon Musk’s four-year-old son X could be seen running excitedly all over the stage, cheering.
X did not make an appearance during his father’s speech on Monday.
