Elon Musk’s estranged trans daughter has vowed to leave the United States following president-elect Donald Trump’s historic win.
Vivian Jenna Wilson, 20, cut ties with father in 2022, when she filed a petition to change her gender, as well as her name, which she hoped would sever any connection between herself and her biological father.
Now, she wants to cut ties with the US after Mr Trump’s re-election, in which her father was instrumental.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. I don’t see my future being in the United States,” Wilson wrote on Threads after Trump’s win. (She doesn’t use X)
“Even if he’s only in office for 4 years, even if the anti-trans regulations magically don’t happen, the people who willingly voted this in are not going anywhere anytime soon,” she added.
Wilson is one of six children Musk, 53, shares with his first wife, Justine Wilson.
Vivian previously accused Musk of being an absent parent who did not acknowledge her gender identity.
Musk blamed “neo-Marxists” at elite private schools and universities for his estranged relationship with his daughter.
In a conversation with biographer Walter Isaacson, Musk said, “She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil.”
“I’ve made many overtures, but she doesn’t want to spend time with me,” he claimed.
Wilson told NBC News her famous dad is “cold” and “cruel” and that he mocked her as a child for her high voice.
“He’s very quick to anger. He is uncaring and narcissistic,” she added.
Wilson also refused Musk’s claim that he was “tricked” into approving trans-related medical treatment for her when she was a teen.
“He knew the full side effects,” she insisted.
Wilson said she had not spoken to Musk in about four years.
Musk, meanwhile, morphed into one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters donating nearly US$120 million to a pro-Trump super PAC.
He shared the stage with Trump at the October rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, three months after the first attempt on the former president’s life there, and declared he’s “dark MAGA” to applause from the crowd.
Wilson’s sentiments were echoed by trans activist Dylan Mulvaney who shared her dismay over the US election result.
“Today my heart is with trans kids and their families. I will do everything I can to support you,” she shared on TikTok
“I love being trans, and no (one) can strip away the euphoria that transitioning has brought me. I love being a woman, no one can take that away from me, no matter who is president.”
Travis Kelce made no political endorsement before the 2024 US presidential elections and he is now receiving a load of backlash for posting to social media for sharing photos of his football game at a time when Democrats were grieving over the loss of their candidate Kamala Harris to Republican Donald Trump.
Just one hour after Trump’s win, Kelce caused a stir online for sharing snaps of Monday night’s victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Instagram.
Fans headed to the comments section to make their feelings known.
“Travis, please don’t come right now; we’re in mourning.”
Another posted, “Read the room, Travis.”
The move was surprising given that Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift very publicly endorsed Harris.
Rapper 50 Cent is being blasted for congratulating Donald Trump on his election win despite having rejected a multimillion-dollar offer to perform at his campaign rally.
Following Mr Trump’s victory at the polls, 50 Cent took to his Instagram to share two throwback photos of the duo together and wish the president-elect congratulations.
He also tagged his alcohol brand.
The comments section on the post was swarmed, with one person saying, “deletes every 50 cent song in my playlist”.
“Please name one thing you expect him to do that benefits black people. And the explain how you will feel when he grants immunity for policemen who kill unarmed black men. I’ll wait,” someone else remarked.
“Bro hate his own kind,” another person said.
The music star recently claimed on a podcast that he turned down US$3 million to perform at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York City late last month.
Infighting in the Democrat Party’s A-list echelons has reached a fever pitch over Kamala Harris’ election defeat with many believing Ocean’s Eleven star George Clooney is to blame for doing serious damage to the left.
Clooney, 63, was a vocal supporter of Harris throughout her campaign.
As well as endorsing Harris, Clooney voiced an ad reminding male voters they could choose to secretly vote for her without the need to explain themselves to others.
However, many feel that the Democrats never recovered from the damage the party suffered during the campaign to compel US President Joe Biden to step down which was lead by Clooney with a scathing op-ed in the New York Times,
“We are not going to win in November with this president,” Clooney wrote.
“On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor who I’ve spoken with in private.”
It comes as former Barack Obama aid and veteran political analyst Van Jones told CNN he didn’t believe the celebrities backers did Harris any favours.
“In 2016, we had a big star-studded event right on the edge of the election, and we lost the state,” Mr Jones said referring to Hillary Clinton’s Beyonce concert.
“I don’t think people understand, working people sometimes have to choose.”

Supporters of US president elect Donald Trump gleefully took to X to “thank” Clooney.
“Let’s all give a major round of applause and give thanks to all the Hollywood Celebs especially J-Lo, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, and especially George Clooney for helping elect 47th President Donald J Trump,” conservative commentator Jason Tucker tweeted.
“I would like to take a moment to thank George Clooney for shoving the most incompetent candidate down America’s throat to ensure a Trump victory,” added another X user.

Meanwhile, US talk show hosts struggled to hide their dismay on air as Donald Trump had the last laugh at the polls and won the battle to become America’s 47th president.
With the cameras rolling, The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon couldn’t hold back his despair, but tried to make humour of the situation by jabbing that America “got back together with its crazy ex”.
Meanwhile, The Late Show host Stephen Colbert admitted he was “not doing great” after Trump defeated his Democrat opponent Kamala Harris.
“If you watch this show regularly, I’m guessing you’re not doing great. Me neither,” Colbert said.
Colbert went on to give a pep-talk to his left-leaning audience, while American TV host Jimmy Kimmel was on the verge of tears as he described it as a “terrible night”.
“I spent a lot of time over the last 17 hours thinking about what I would say tonight, what there even is to say and … there’s nothing, good night everybody!,” Kimmel said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“America got back together with its crazy ex and elect Donald Trump as the 47th president of the United States. No matter who you voted for, I think we can all agree it’s going to be a rough Thanksgiving,” Fallon said, before singing a hopeful tune with The View’s Whoopi Goldberg.
Meanwhile, on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the host also tried to lift the spirits of his viewers.
Introducing the show, he said that something in his “brain broke a lot last night”, before making a plea to the audience: “What a privilege to be here with you, to be here with my colleagues, to not feel alone”.
A host of Hollywood A-listers took to social media to slam the results of the US election after their many enthusiastic endorsements of Democrat candidate Kamala Harris failed to sway the campaign in their favour.
The New York Post reports Singer Cardi B, actor Alec Baldwin and author Stephen King were among those to fall to pieces after Donald Trump emerged victorious.
The 32-year-old Grammy-winning rapper lead the charge with an expletive laden rant on Instagram Live.
Cardi B read out a comment from a fan that said, “Cardi we need you at the Trump inauguration” with the suggestion seeming to tip her over the edge.
“I swear to god I’m gonna f*** you up, get away from me,” the hit maker yelled into the camera.
“I’m sick of you! Burn you’re f***ing hats motherf***er. I’m really sad. I swear to god I’m really sad.”
Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Cephus, attempted to compose herself to add in a separate post that she’s “proud” of Vice President Kamala Harris.
The artist spoke at a Harris rally in Milwaukee last week.
“I hate everybody,” she said in the emotional post.
Actor Alec Baldwin, whose impersonation of Trump on Saturday Night Live is considered one of the best, appeared to be taking part in a silent protest over the result.
Baldwin shared a photo of a black screen on Instagram without a caption.
Actor Christina Applegate took to X to unleash her fury.
“Why? Give me your reasons why????? My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why? And if you disagree, please unfollow me,” Applegate wrote.

Basketball icon LeBron James was also thinking of his daughter when it came to the election result.
“HEAVY ON MY HEART & MIND THIS AM MY PRINCESS!! PROMISE TO PROTECT YOU WITH EVERYTHING I HAVE AND MORE!! WE DONT NEED THEIR HELP!” James wrote on Instagram.
The View host Sunny Hostin said on air that “uneducated white women” were to blame for the result.
“I’m profoundly disturbed … we know now that he will have unfettered power,” Hostin said.
“I remember my father telling me many, many years ago that I was the first person in his family to enjoy full civil rights and now I have less civil rights than when he told me that.”
Fellow television host Andy Cohen also had some thoughts which he aired on Instagram.
“We will persist, we will move forward.”
It was a change of tune from hours early when he lamented on X “so the election ISN’T rigged????”
Actor John Cusack also posted a rant on X.
“The fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting in a convicted felon rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism. To put it mildly,” he wrote.
Glee’s Kevin McHale was concerned about the potential for Trump to once again use his power install conservative judges.
“Supreme Court gone for the rest of my lifetime. Ultraconservative evangelical bigotry, xenophobia, racism is the mandate,” he wrote on X.

Former Meghan Markle co-star Wendell Pierce of Suits fame warned of the “consequences” there could be once Trump moves into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave in a post on X.
“The Supreme Court will be changed for a generation,” he wrote.
“I’ll never see a moderate court again in my lifetime. Alito and Thomas will step down and Trump will appoint 40 year old partisans to the bench. The damage he is about to inflict on our institutions the next 2 years will be irreparable.”
