Taylor Swift has been spotted out on a date night with her boyfriend Travis Kelce, after the popstar touched down in New Orleans ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl LIX.

The smitten couple were seen holding hands by fans after the two enjoyed “an intimate dinner” with friends Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, according to a video shared by Nola News.

The outlet reports that the foursome were at the French restaurant — dubbed one of the “sexiest” establishments in New Orleans — for a few hours and had dinner in a private room.

“A crowd of a few dozen people had gathered outside, cheering and taking videos as they left just after 10 pm,” Nola News reports.

Swift is set to cheer on Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome.

This is the second Super Bowl for Swift, who has been in a relationship with the NFL star for nearly two years.

Speculation continues over whether Swift will also appear in the half-time show alongside Kendrick Lamar, who also recorded the song ‘Bad Blood’ with Swift.

Earlier in the week, Kelce revealed his thoughts on US President Donald Trump attending the Super Bowl, with a stark difference of opinion emerging between the NFL star and his music superstar girlfriend.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end said it was an “honour” to have Mr Trump attend the game in New Orleans, which kicks off at 10.30am AEDT on Monday.

Kelce’s teammate Patrick Mahomes also praised Mr Trump, saying it was “cool” that the US President respected the game and that he was looking forward to playing in front of “someone in the top position in our country”.

Kelce told a packed press conference: “It’s awesome. It’s a great honour, I think no matter who the President is.

“I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life and having the President there, it’s the best country in the world so it’s pretty cool.”

Unlike Swift, who endorsed Trump rival Kamala Harris during the election campaign, Britanny Mahomes, supports Mr Trump.

It comes as details emerged of the luxury suites that will be set up for Swift and the Kelce clan, as well as a string of other stars including Kim Kardashian and Bradley Cooper.

The Caesars Superdome features 165 luxury suites that stretch around the stadium, with the most coveted box, which fits up to 40 people, costing $US3 million (A$4.7 million).

Kelce is believed to be splashing out on the most expensive suite available for Swift and his family, similar to the luxury surroundings they enjoyed at the 2024 Super Bowl.

The stunning suite features unobstruicted views of the game as well a menu of local New Orleans cuisine including gumbo and ribs prepared by top chefs.

TRUMP’S HISTORIC SUPER BOWL MOVE

Mr Trump will be the first sitting commander in chief to attend America’s biggest annual sporting event, The Post earlier reported.

The planned presence of Mr Trump, 78, at the Caesars Superdome was first reported by Punchbowl News and confirmed by federal law enforcement sources.

The President’s attendance will necessitate an extra layer of security, with the game taking place 39 days after an ISIS-inspired terrorist drove a truck through crowds celebrating New Year’s Eve on Bourbon Street, killing 14 people and injuring dozens more.

Three sitting vice presidents have attended the Super Bowl.

In 1971, Spiro Agnew, a devoted Baltimore Colts fan, watched his team beat the Dallas Cowboys, 16-13, at the Orange Bowl in Miami.

Eleven years later, then-VP George H.W. Bush watched the San Francisco 49ers win their first-ever Super Bowl, 26-21, over the Cincinnati Bengals at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan.

In 1994, Al Gore was at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta to watch the Dallas Cowboys consign the Buffalo Bills to their fourth straight big game defeat, 30-13. Bush did attend a Super Bowl as a former president, taking part in the coin toss alongside Cowboys legend Roger Staubach prior to the New England Patriots’ upset win over the heavily favoured St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI.That game, like Sunday’s, was held in New Orleans.
