The 49th City of Darwin Carols by Candlelight will be held this Sunday at the Darwin Amphitheatre.
The annual charity event will this year raise funds for Variety NT.
Patrons are encouraged to get into the Christmas spirit of giving by making a cash donation at the gate.
There will also be limited reserved seating available for $35 per chair, which includes a candle and program.
As always, families are encouraged to BYO chair and picnic provisions, noting it is an alcohol-free event.
There will be food vendors at the amphitheatre.
Gates open for this family-friendly event from 4.30pm with the carolling commencing at 6pm.
Masters of Ceremony Shalom and Sarah P will guide carollers through a spectacular program under the stars, including performances by the 1st Brigade of the Australian Army Band, the 50-piece Woolworths Candlelight Choir and 25 soloists.
The carolling will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display at 8.30pm.
The show must go on, but there is a very high chance of showers - so make sure you pack an umbrella.
Christmas in Darwin Association has advised it may suspend the concert temporarily in the case of passing showers, or cancel on the advice of the BOM should severe conditions be predicted.
