RONALD Fejo has the potential to be one of Wanderers’ greatest players, his Premier League coach Shannon Motlop said last night.

The 18-year-old is the Round 1 nomination for the 2019-20 NT News Rising Star, an award that recognises the big pool of young football talent around the NT.

An Academy player with the Territory Thunder under-18 side this year, Fejo has also come off a season with rugby league club Brothers.

“He’ll definitely prove to be one of our best junior products in the years to come,’’ Motlop told the NT News.

“He’s just got that natural development about him and with the growth he’s had in the last 12 months, he’s up with the likes of Joel Jeffrey now.

“Ronald’s running capacity is also right up there.

Plus he uses the footy really well where he can be a lot more expansive running off a wing or half forward.’’
