Dozens of alleged white supremacists have marched through a town on the Victorian-New South Wales border, with chants of “Australia for the white man” leaving locals stunned.

Shocked residents in Corowa witnessed about 50 alleged white supremacists chanting and carrying a banner that read “White Man Fight Back” on Saturday afternoon.

The group of men, dressed in black, first gathered at the Corowa RSL before heading down to the town’s war memorial wearing balaclavas and sunglasses.

According to residents, the men could be heard yelling “male victory” and “Australia for the white man, the rest must go”.

One Corowa local took to social media to express her outrage, calling on the public to speak up.

“A white supremacist group marched through Corowa today,” she wrote.

“I get home from work to crickets, my post in the community group deleted.

“If we can’t speak out publicly against people like this they will just keep doing it.”

New South Wales Police confirmed they were called to a report of an unauthorised protest on the boarder town but said no arrests were made.

The Victorian boarder is only a short distance from the town.

In Victoria, performing the Nazi salute and displaying Nazi symbols is prohibited.

The Incumbent Mayor Patrick Bourke said that the rally was “absolutely disgusting,”

“I think it’s a cowardly act to carry on like that in a public arena with children and family around,” he said.

“It’s pretty unbelievable really to think it would happen in a community like Corowa, it’s definitely not welcome here.”

New South Wales Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
