A 13-year-old boy is among three teens and an adult charged after they allegedly rammed a police vehicle with a stolen vehicle in Springvale on Friday night.
Police received calls of a car containing four people wearing gloves and balaclavas sitting in a Princes Highway car park at around 8pm.
When they arrived at the scene, police say they found the group in an allegedly stolen Nissan X Trail and attempted to box them in with their police cars.
It is alleged the stolen Nissan backed up, hitting a parked car, before driving forward to ram one of the police vehicles.
One of the group then fled on foot, quickly being chased down by police and arrested in a nearby backyard, while the other three were arrested at the scene.
A 14-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy as well as a 21-year-old Clyde North male were also charged following the incident.
All four were charged with theft of a motor vehicle from a Clyde North property earlier this week, with the three teens bailed to appear at children’s court at a later date.
The 21-year-old man was bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on April 30.
