Popular comedy trio Sooshi Mango have been crowned Moomba Monarchs for 2025.
Brothers Carlo and Joe Salanitri and friend Andrew Manfre will perform royal duties for the beloved Melbourne event, which runs from March 6 to 10.
Their “ethnic dad” characters Johnny, Vince and Sam turned them into online superstars and arena-tier headliners.
“We’re proud Melburnians and we’re very honoured and happy,” Manfre said.
“There’s a certain amount of silliness that comes with us, but we hope people see the humility and humour in what we do, and our love for Melbourne.”
Manfre also sealed the Moomba deal with a solid smooch with Melbourne Lord Mayor Nick Reece.
“The Lord Mayonnaise is lovely,” Manfre said, laughing.
“His heart is in the right place.”
Do the crowns fit?
“Just,” Manfre replied.
“It very sweaty work wearing a crown and a wig.”
