Ellidy Pullin and Chloe Fisher have a steadfast motto that has underlined their success as a duo.

“If it’s not chaos we usually don’t want it,’’ Pullin says.

The besties and powerhouse podcasting hosts are taking their raw, real and relatable conversations on tour for the first time in November.

Since they launched Darling, Shine! the podcast in 2020 there has been an overwhelming sense of community developed from their bond.

Pullin has shared her heartbreak and healing after losing partner Chumpy, welcoming their daughter Minnie 15-months later; and Chloe has taken listeners through the highs and heartbreaks of IVF and daughter Bobbi Fisher’s miracle arrival into the world.

“It just came naturally for us,’’ Pullin says.

“When we started the podcast we were going through so much so we’d hop on and be so raw and vulnerable and people were attached to us crying and having chats about grief and trauma in our lives.

“We grew through that and worked through our issues and people just started following along the whole bigger picture, the family, today’s true modern family vibe and our lifestyle in general. We are so excited to meet and engage with our audience.”

Fisher, wife of international DJ Paul Fisher, says her relationship with Pullin has continued to evolve but one thing remains: “We’re better together”.

The pair changed the dynamic of their business with Fisher doing more of the admin behind the scenes and Pullin focusing on the podcast.

“We’ve both evolved so much as human beings in last two or three years,’’ Fisher reflects.

“We’re like every normal person, we have our good days and we have our bad days. I’ve got my beautiful little girl Bobbi and she’s just the best. It’s so nice while we’re on the Gold Coast together we live and breathe out of each others’ pockets on a daily basis.

“Right now we’re feeling good, feeling excited. Working on this tour is exciting for me.

“It’s been so long in the pipeline and to actually come into fruition is huge.”

Pullin admits there were early doubts but they quickly disappeared and their confidence grew. “We do love it and live and breathe it,’’ she says. “We didn’t think anyone would listen at the start and now there is such an engaged audience.

“Our lives are so hectic and we’re trying to be mums and sometimes it’s hard to upkeep but how could we leave the audience – they’re our main supporters.

“People really relate to the unhinged chaoticness of us. Our thing is that no matter what, we keep it real.

“We’ll literally have a mini fight and we’ll jump on and say f--k you were annoying me. We don’t just press end. We’re very open and it’s great. We’ve worked through so much together.

“It’s like this marriage, business partner situation. No matter how the podcast works, whether Chloe is going behind the scenes a bit more because she’s really good at that and everyone froths when she’s back on tour, no matter how the dynamic ends up working out I feel like we’re just so solid.”

Fisher is proud of how their relationship has stood the test of time and potential pitfalls of business with friends.

“It’s a space where there are so many podcasts in the world these days it wasn’t such a big thing but for us to still be sitting here and being best friends and business partners says a lot,’’ Fisher says.

“For us to get this far down the track and still be best mates is a big achievement. You never know what’s going to happen by the end of the tour. We have solid destinations locked and loaded. It’s really exciting to get in front of people and have interactions with our listeners.

“We wouldn’t be doing what we do today if we didn’t get the beautiful feedback.

“We have all different types of people listening to our podcast. People doing self breast checks now too … it’s emotional but I’m so proud of us for being able to get on there and share these things. To be able to help people and change people’s lives, I am proud.”

Fisher says taking their lives to the stage was a natural evolution and like their moniker, “It’s our time to shine”.

“It’s like a bit of impostor syndrome because when you’re behind a camera or a microphone and you’re not in real time like this tour is going to be, you really just underestimate the size of the audience,’’ Fisher says.

Pullin adds: “We always find our own shit a bit boring but we know each other so well and we don’t get sick of talking and then you sit there with a mic and it’s like what else could we talk about?

“The looser we come in the better usually.

“When you’re sharing your personal life, it’s like I’m sitting here talking to my friend and it’s like therapy. Then you walk down the street and you’re like oh I shit myself too.

“And a bit of the tour will not go back into all the shit but will be a fat recap of our lives. And then how we were going through stuff together but kind of the complete opposite traumas if that makes sense.

“Chloe is trying to have a baby, I’m having a baby, I don’t have my partner, she has a partner, we’re both missing what each other has.

“The vibes are going to be so cute and happy. We’ve come such a long way in both of our life journeys and getting through and moving forward. We’re in the perfect phase of our life to be doing these shows. We won’t just be a crying mess up there because we’ve got our shit together and a lot of that rawness and vulnerability, but also this is where we’ve come to and how far we’ve got.”
