A woman has been hospitalised after her car smashed through the fence at Lavarack Barracks following a three-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the westbound lanes of University Drive in Murray at around 10.50am on Friday, responding to a collision involving two cars and a truck.

One of the cars reportedly broke through the barracks’ fence.

The female driver of that car was treated by paramedics for an arm injury before being transported to Townsville University Hospital in stable condition.

The occupants of the other vehicles did not require medical attention.
