Townsville Police charge 23yo Kelso woman over alleged wounding in Heatley overnight
A woman has been arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing a man multiple times in Townsville overnight.

A WOMAN has been arrested and charged after allegedly stabbing a man multiple times in Heatley overnight.
Police will allege about 11.50pm, officers were called to a Heatley house where they found a man with six stab wounds to his torso.
Police arrested a woman, who is known to the man, at a residence further up the street.
The 24-year-old Palm Island man was taken to Townsville University Hospital for non-life threatening stab wounds.
The 23-year-old Kelso woman has been charged with one count of wounding (domestic violence offence) and faced Townsville Magistrates Court today.
The woman, who cannot be named to protect the victim, applied for bail, but police had not checked to see if her bail address was suitable.
Her matter was adjourned until Friday for police to make enquiries.
