A new set of superstars will be in the spotlight this weekend, acting in Townsville Grammar School’s inaugural junior school production ‘Alice’s Magical Adventure’.
Almost 250 students from years four to six have a role to play in the production - the first of its kind for Grammar.
Townsville Grammar School principal Timothy Kelly said the inclusion of a junior school production was a significant addition to the school’s performing arts calendar.
“The junior school production now joins the middle school and senior school productions as regular opportunities for students to engage in the performing arts,” Mr Kelly said.
“I am so pleased to see this event come to fruition.”
At the centre of the junior production are two tireless teachers, Charlene Moskovitch and Jenna Fielder, who’ve written, choreographed and directed the performance - not easy when you need to create nearly 250 roles for a horde of first-time actors.
Alice’s Magical Adventure will be performed four times over the weekend to a crowd of friends and family.
