With a returning prodigal son potentially facing a savage wrestler out for revenge there promises to be carnage in the ring this Saturday night.
The Kings of QWizzard and Technical Wrestling Wizardly Blizzard is the latest all out action from the Queensland Wrestling Alliance at the Northern Beaches High School.
Fan favourite Seth Tylors is making an overdue return to the ring but his glorious comeback could be threatened by a furious JC Sabotage looking for answers after losing his title belt.
Sabotage said it would be an action-filled ‘balls to the wall’ night and nobody better get in his way.
“I lost my heavyweight championship last month so I’m out for revenge. JC Sabotage is out to get his belt back.
“It doesn’t matter who I’m up against, I’m coming for everybody. Whoever gets in my way is going down.
“This month we’re welcoming back Seth Tylors who has been on the sidelines for the last couple of months.
“He’s managed to fight his way back in to the arena. Whether or not that’s a good choice is yet to be seen.”
Tylors shrugged off the trash talk and said he was more than ready for any challenge.
“I will be 100 per cent wiping the floor with JC and anybody who gets in my way – I’m refocused. I’m re-motivated.”
For those adventurous souls who feel they can make the grade the QWA is having try out nights for both male and female wrestlers with males on July 15 and females on July 22.
“That’s open to any and all participants over 18 years old,” Tylors said.
“It gives it a little crash course in professional wrestling and what you can expect.”
He said the female try out night was to make the participants feel more welcome.
“Professional wrestling can be very daunting and has that stigma of it is very male dominant.
“But women have been absolutely busting down doors, getting themselves into the world of professional wrestling.”
He said there was nothing better than professional wrestling.
“It’s the greatest thing in the world. It’s a mix of contact sport. It’s mix of live entertainment and performance and theatre. We are the last form of Shakespearean theatre.”
Doors open at 5.30pm for Saturday’s night’s action. For more info visit the QWA Facebook page.
