A man who appeared on an Australian reality show has been charged as police allege he stalked a Queensland woman just as the new series aired on screen.

A former reality TV contestant has been charged with stalking, with police alleging the man harassed a woman just as the new show aired on screen.
Riccardo Valenza, who appeared on the first season of FBoy Island Australia, was charged with one count of unlawful stalking on June 4 this year.
It’s been alleged the 30-year-old stalked and harassed a woman from December 8, 2022 to June 29, 2023.
It is believed the man was living between Townsville and the Sunshine Coast at the time of the alleged offending.
Mr Valenza, who works as a veterinarian, was granted bail in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on August 1 however the charge was most recently mentioned in Townsville Magistrates Court on Thursday, where he did not have to appear in person.
