NQ Kool Cars and Kustoms have been dressed up for Christmas, with decorations featuring Santa and the grinch.
The family-owned business’ showroom recently opened in September, and co-director Liberty Eggins has wasted no time preparing it for Christmas.
“The theme for Christmas is Santa Clause in a ‘32 Roadster, he’s delivering the presents,” Ms Eggins said.
“We’ve got the grinch and his naughty elves stealing all the presents in a 1958 El Camino.”
“We were just trying to put a little story together for Christmas and give the people of Townsville something to drive by and have a look, and people absolutely love it.”
But decorating isn’t the only way Ms Eggins is celebrating Christmas at Kool Cars.
“We’re also running a little competition. We’ve got all the naughty elves in the showroom and people can come in and count how many elves we have,” Ms Eggins said.
“We’re giving away a $150 gift voucher for that.”
But the creativity doesn’t stop there, Ms Eggins said she’s already preparing for the next big event.
“I [decorate] the showroom for various events, coming up to Australia Day I’ll do an Australia Day theme,”
The service offers car restorations and custom fabrication, as well as mechanical, suspension, brakes, interior, paint and crash repairs.
Kool Cars and Kustoms will have their showroom open until Christmas Eve.
