For the perfect place for that perfect cup of coffee and to sit with friends and briefly solve world issues Little Pegs Café on Charters Towers Road is the perfect choice.

Nestled amongst a group of shops at 210 Charters Towers Road the intimate pet friendly café has been under the proud ownership of Ben Richardson for the past three years.

Along with his friendly staff, he always strives to provide the perfect brew and also offers a small selection of tasty indulgent and savoury bites.

Richardson said he has been a barista for the past ten years, having learned the ins and outs for that perfect cup first here in Townsville, then Sydney before returning back to NQ but it was the social aspect that appealed to him the most.

There is always a diverse range of customers across different ages and professions at Little Pegs.

“I think it just comes down to the staff itself. Just create an atmosphere for people to come and hang out and chat.”

He said they provide a range of coffee experiences for the discerning drinker.

“In terms of coffees, I’ve got a few different options. So, coffees for a black coffee drinkers, milk and then decaf as well.
