A 19-year-old is facing 12 charges after allegedly being involved in a stabbing at the Vincent Village Shopping Centre, a court has heard.

The victim of a stabbing at Vincent Village Shopping Centre in July has experienced “medical complications” as a result of his injuries, a court has heard.
Brandon Jordan Storm Stephen, 19, who is accused of stabbing the man fronted Townsville Magistrates Court, facing 12 charges.
About 5.40pm on July 7, a 20-year-old man was stabbed four times inside Vincent Village Shopping Centre on the corner of Fulham Rd and Nathan St.
The incident was captured on CCTV.
Stephen was charged with grievous bodily harm, assaults occasioning bodily harm, possession of a knife in a public place, serious assault of a person over 60, and seven breaches of bail conditions.
After an unsuccessful bid for bail on July 8, Stephen appeared from custody via video link in the Townsville Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Police prosecutor Luay Allawy said a full brief of evidence was expected to become available by October 10.
He said investigators were still waiting on medical notes and a statement from the victim who was experiencing “medical complications” as a result of his injuries.
“(The victim) had to undergo further surgery at the Townsville Hospital,” Mr Allawy said.
“The hospital liaison is aware that the matter is now before the court so they are endeavouring to obtain that documentation promptly.”
Magistrate Ross Mack adjourned the case until October 18.
