Police have released details about a farm worker critically injured in a horror accident on the Bruce Highway between Townsville and Ingham on Tuesday.
Ingham Police said the driver was a 66-year-old man from Townsville.
He was injured when his vehicle rolled on the intersection of the highway and Bambaroo Road, Bambaroo, about 10.30am.
Senior Sergeant Geoff Bormann, the officer in charge of Ingham Police, said the Forensic Crash Unit, along with Queensland Fire and Emergency and Queensland Ambulance Service crews attended the incident.
The driver was airlifted by GQAir Rescue Helicopter to Townsville University Hospital.
A Townsville Hospital and Health Service spokeswoman said the driver remained in a critical condition on Wednesday morning.
Snr Sgt Bormann said investigations were continuing as to cause of incident.“Any witnesses please contact Ingham Police on 4776 9777 or Policelink on 131444.”
