Townsville Police have charged a 15 year-old-boy with 48 offences following a string of alleged property and dangerous driving offences in the last two months.
The teenage boy is allegedly part of a group of teenagers who broke into multiple homes and stole vehicles on April 24.
It is also alleged that the teenager was involved in multiple dangerous driving offences and three armed vehicle robberies in Vincent, Pimlico and Aitkenvale on Mother’s Day.
Another teenager, a 13-year-old boy was caught by police on Mother’s Day and was arrested.
A 44-year-old North Ward woman received a cut to her hand in one of the attempted carjackings.
The 15-year-old was taken into custody on May 17 following investigation from police and was charged with 48 offences, including 13 counts of unlawful motor use and grievous bodily harm.
He has been reprimanded in custody and is due to reappear in Townsville Children's Court on June 7.
