The action will continue on the second day with performances by popular Top End singer-songwriter Sally Balfour, as well as the mature age harmonies from Still Belting Out and Gravy Train later in the day.

The afternoon will culminate in the true territory sound of the much-adored David Garnham and the Reasons to Live.

For Shirley Preston, Chair of the Freds Pass Rural Show Committee, she said it was an opportunity to reflect on the continuous development of the event.

“This year, visitors will be captivated by livestock judging, animal displays, the iconic wood chopping exhibition, grand parade, main stage acts, classic car show, amusements, animal nursery, and much more”, Ms Preston said.

“Once again, the dedicated Committee have worked successfully to expand the range of attractions and the appeal of the event”.
