CHIEF Minister Michael Gunner’s office employs nine communications staff, a leaked list of ministerial staff reveals.
The list, obtained by the NT News, reveals the names and positions of the 90 people working in ministerial support roles on Parliament’s fifth floor.
Nine communications staff — including three communications advisers, one “strategic” communications adviser, three communications officers, one communications assistant and a communications director — work within Mr Gunner’s office while other ministers employ only one each.

The leaked list shows staffing arrangements before Mr Gunner on Monday dumped his long time chief of staff Alf Leonardi and demoted his joint deputy chiefs of staff Kieran Phillips and Helen Nezeritis.

Mr Gunner’s roster of 27 staff include two failed Labor candidates. Phil Tilbrook, who unsuccessfully ran in Spillet at the 2016 election is employed as a “union liaison officer” while Mick Taylor — who received only 860 votes in Goyder — is a “research officer” in Mr Gunner’s office.
