BOM warns wild weather, 100km/h wind gusts possible for parts of SA on Monday

Parts of South Australia are forecast to be hit by damaging wind gusts up to 100k/h on Monday, the Bureau of Meteorology is warning.
The severe weather warning, issued on Sunday morning, said strong, damaging wind gusts in the state’s northwest could follow a cold front forecast to cross the state from early Monday morning.
Damaging wind gusts of about 100k/h are possible over parts of the Yorke Peninsula, Fleurieu Peninsula, Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island from Monday morning, the warning states.
From midday, damaging wind gusts of about 90 km/h are possible over inland areas in the West Coast and North West Pastoral districts.
Ferry provider Sealink said there was a “high potential for disruptions” and sailings from Penneshaw and Cape Jervis could be cancelled.
In a social media post, the company said a decision would be made at check-in at the terminal on Monday morning.
The State Emergency Service said people in the warning area should move vehicles under cover or away from trees, secure or put away loose items around your property, and to stay indoors away from windows while conditions were severe.
