Popular country and western clothing brand Ringers Western is preparing to open their first ever store in North Queensland at a Townsville shopping centre.

Set to open at Castletown, Hyde Park on August 29, the country-focused brand began out of a cattle station in the Kimberley region of Western Australia.

From clothing, hats, shoes and even camping gear, the brand has become a staple for lovers of outback apparel.

Ringers Western are opening a store at Castle Town, the first in North Queensland.

Ringers Western chief executive James Salerno Jr said the company was looking forward to opening in Castletown.

“We have such a strong customer base in Townsville itself, so we are really proud to be able to offer a store here for all the locals to enjoy,” he said.

“As our brand continues to grow online, it is also growing through bricks and mortar, and it’s so important for us as a business to be able to offer Ringers stores in areas where our loyal customers can access them.

“Townsville will hopefully be the first of many stores opening and we can’t wait to see the finished product. Please come down on the 29th and visit some of the founding team in-store.”

Castletown centre manager Kathy Langsford said she is looking forward to the new addition to the centre’s numerous clothing outlets.

Castletown,” She said.

“We’re confident that the addition of Ringers Western will appeal to a wide variety of shoppers in the Townsville region and bring a unique blend of contemporary fashion and country charm to the centre.”

Ringers Western Castletown will open on August 29 and will be located next to Cafe 63, opposite Coles.

It is just the latest bespoke clothing and outfitting store to open in Castletown this year, with Laundrie Big Brand Outlet having opened in March.
