Stabbing victim rushed to Yeppoon Hospital with arm injury

A man has been taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing near Yeppoon.

The alleged wounding happened about 3.25pm at a Kevin Drive address in Hidden Valley, with a man suffering a minor arm injury.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the case was being treated as a possible domestic violence incident and a crime scene had been declared.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to Yeppoon Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.

The alleged offender is believed to have left the scene before police arrived.

No charges had been laid as at 4.20pm.
