Pubs, sporting clubs and other venues will open their doors and offer special menu items to eager football fans to watch the Matildas do-or-die semi-final against England across Brisbane.
A host of venues are set to welcome an army of green and gold to watch the semi-final showdown across the state following a record breaking 4.9m viewers tuning in on Saturday.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schriner’s office confirmed on Monday a mass screening event will be held in King George Square from 7pm on Wednesday with further live sites set to be confirmed.
Rather than watching at home, locals will be able to bring the Matildas fever across the city and grab a front seat early thanks to the Ekka People’s Day public holiday.
“The Matilda-rita” drink will be featured at the Prince Consort Hotel as one of the special venue items fans can enjoy as they witness the Matildas’ fight for a place in the FIFA World Cup final.
