A man has been assaulted after an altercation with a 14-year-old boy at an inner Brisbane park on Monday.
Police said a 53-year-old man was involved in an altercation with the boy at Bulimba Memorial Park near Oxford and Stuart streets about 3.30pm.
A 47-year-old man then arrived on the scene and intervened, assaulting the 53-year-old man.
A video obtained by 7News showed the 47-year-old was armed with a cricket bat and repeatedly struck him, causing minor leg injuries.
The two men were not known to each other.
Investigations were continuing.
