Police have arrested six teenagers following a three-hour pursuit of two allegedly stolen vehicles in Logan and the Gold Coast overnight.

QPS said three police cars sustained minor damage during the pursuit, which started when officers began tracking a stolen Toyota Rav4 in Eagleby about midnight Sunday.

A tyre deflation device was used and the vehicle continued on for some time before coming to a stop near Fryar Road.

The occupants then allegedly fled the scene in a second stolen vehicle, a Skoda sedan.

The Skoda was tracked along the Pacific Motorway to the New South Wales border, and through southern Gold Coast suburbs.

The vehicle came to a stop near Christine Ave in Burleigh Heads about 3am and six people were arrested.

No one was injured.

The Toyota Rav4 was stolen from Surfers Paradise on March 23 while the Skoda sedan was stolen from Parkinson on March 19.

Acting Superintendent Jason Tuffley confirmed the teenagers were aged between 14 and 16, and were a mix of boys and girls.

The pursuit, which lasted nearly three hours, involved multiple police districts and required coordination with New South Wales authorities when the vehicle briefly crossed the border before returning to Queensland.

QPS said three police cars sustained minor damage during the pursuit, including one that was hit by debris from a tyre deflation device.

Acting Superintendent Jason Tuffley alleged speeds ranged between 80 and 120km/h on the M1, which, given the light traffic conditions at the time, allowed officers to safely engage in the pursuit.

The dog squad was deployed to track and assist in the arrest of the six juveniles, who on Monday remained in custody.
