Power Bills To Rise 13/03/2023

Queensland power bills are predicted to rise by another $372 a year, based on Treasury modelling ahead of the energy regulator’s decision this week. 

The illegal sale of cigarettes will be targeted by the state government under new laws that will create a licencing scheme aimed at ensuring only “fit and proper” people are supplying tobacco.
