Man fights for life, two in custody after Fortitude Valley stabbing
Two men have been charged and another is seriously injured after he was allegedly stabbed while trying to break up a fight in the heart of Fortitude Valley on Friday morning.

A man is fighting for life after he was allegedly stabbed while trying to break up a fight in the heart of Fortitude Valley this morning.
The 21-year-old man, reportedly a French national, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital in a serious, but stable condition around 3.30am.
The incident occurred on the corner of Wickham and Brunswick streets, outside the Prince Consort Hotel.
The man’s friend told 7News he intervened when he noticed an altercation outside a bottle shop.
Two men have been charged after they allegedly fled the scene on foot and were arrested nearby on Costin Street.
An 18-year-old Zillmere man was charged with one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning bodily harm, going armed to cause fear, and possess knife in a public place.
An 18-year-old Bald Hills man was charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
They are both due to appear before Brisbane Magistrates Court on Saturday.
In another incident, a woman was taken to hospital with facial injuries after an incident outside the Woolloongabba Hotel around 10.15pm on Thursday.
The 29-year-old was taken to the Mater Hospital in a stable condition. The offender fled the scene on foot.
Investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
