A young woman has died at the scene of a crash involving her motorcycle and a truck on the M1 south of Brisbane.

A young woman has died at the scene of a crash involving her motorcycle and a truck on the M1 south of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to a multi-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of the M1 near the Pimpama River Bridge at Ormeau just before 7pm.
The rider of a Yamaha YZF-R6, a 21-year-old Virginia woman, died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are appealing to anyone who may have any relevant information or dashcam vision to come forward.
