Police are looking for a man on the run after he allegedly assaulted staff members at a North Lakes business and stole several items.

Police are looking for a man on the run after he allegedly assaulted staff members at a North Lakes business and stole several items.

The alleged incident occurred on November 13.

CCTV of the man shows him walking around the store with a large bag containing several items before he walks through the store’s exit.

It’s alleged the man didn’t pay for the items and assaulted staff when he was confronted over it.

The man then fled on foot.

The man is described by police as caucasian, approximately 173cm tall, with brown hair and a brown beard and likely in his 30s.

He was seen wearing a grey hoodie, dark navy blue shorts, black socks and white shoes.

Police have asked anyone who recognises the man, or who has any information that can assist investigations, to contact them.
