Police are on the hunt for thieves who stole a Lamborghini Urus after breaking into the garage of a home and fleeing in the vehicle.
The high-performance SUV, often called a Super SUV, can cost $450k plus in Australia and is known for its powerful engine, design, and advanced technology.
Police said the car, which is purple and mauve in colour, was reportedly stolen from inside the garage of the Elimbah home and was seen leaving the address at 10.44pm on Thursday.
Initial investigations indicate, unknown people have forced entry into the garage before fleeing in the vehicle.
A quantity of other personal property was also reported stolen.
Police are appealing to anyone who has seen the vehicle or has relevant CCTV vision of the area at the time to contact police.
The Urus is typically powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, with the Urus SE also featuring an electric motor and battery pack for hybrid capability.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 3.6 seconds.
Inside the tech includes dual touchscreens, interactive voice commands and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
