An 18-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed while out walking on the road with two other teenagers at midnight on the Sunshine Coast. DETAILS.

An 18-year-old man has been rushed to hospital after allegedly being stabbed while out walking on the road with two other teenagers at midnight on the Sunshine Coast.

Paramedics rushed the 18-year-old to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with arm injuries at Bli Bli at 12.42am.

Police are investigating an alleged stabbing at Bli Bli early Monday morning.

Initial investigations indicate about 12.30am, two males and a female, all known to each other, were walking along Willis Rd when they were approached by another two males in a red Holden ute.

During the incident, an 18-year-old man sustained a wound to his arm.

The 17-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman he was walking with were not physically injured.

Police will allege the two male offenders then left the scene.

Emergency crews found the teens a short time later on Willis Rd.

The 18-year-old was treated for the stab wound to his arm.

He was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or anyone with dashcam vision or information that could assist investigators, is urged to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
