TERRITORY Alliance’s Robyn Lambley could survive in the seat of Araluen and the CLP is likely to pick up Namatjira according to election analysts after the NT Electoral Commission finished counting postal votes for the day.
The NTEC counted close to 4000 postal votes though all of the seats in doubt, bar Arafura, remain as such.
Labor MLA Lawrence Costa will most likely retain Arafura.
Psephologist Kevin Bonham, based in Tasmania, said postal votes had “somewhat unexpectedly” increased Ms Lambley’s lead in the nailbiting race for Araluen and “should now survive barring counting errors”.
