Ban Fracking Fix Crime Protect Water had planned to run in Blain, Johnston, Port Darwin, Fannie Bay and Drysdale but ended up only running Lash Lisson in Drysdale.

She said rumours the party had stuffed up its NT Electoral Commission paperwork to register candidates were false.

Ms Fraser-Adams said it was “obvious what’s going to happen” when tens of thousands of people had streamed into the NT, no one was wearing masks and some lied on their forms or sneaked in.

The NT’s borders have been open for nearly a month and as of 8am on Tuesday 32,657 had arrived by air, road or sea.

The NT has recorded only two new cases of COVID-19 since then, a couple who went to Melbourne and back so their child could receive critical medical treatment. There is no known community transmission in the Territory.
